Well after December 2011, MorphOS 3.0 arrives and offers, for the first time in the Amiga world, the management of a laptop, namely the Apple PowerBooks (5.6 to 5.9). The update remains free, as previously announced by Frank Mariak. The price of the license is then EUR 111.11 for the PowerBook, 79 EUR for the Pegasos/eMac/Mac Mini/PowerMac and EUR 49 for the Efika 5200B.
In addition to the management of these new machines, MorphOS 3.0 also sees new software such as Jalapeno (burning software), Transfer (FTP/SFTP client), Jukebox (audio player), VPDF (PDF player), Flacapella (FLAC/MP3 encoder), a new faster version of the Odyssey Web Browser, Scribble (text editor previously provided in the SDK) but also faster 3D drivers.
